nicHi's SuSu
nicHi's SuSu is a system. it is based in ancient Black, Afro-Diasporic methods of mutual aid. nicHi's SuSu is a SuSu with an update. nicHi's update includes anonymous white donors, who create the pool of money from which Black artists are paid on a monthly basis. nicHi likes to think of this as a form of Reparations, even though Reparations are really owed to Black folx by the nation.
in October 2020, nicHi invited 12 Black artists to form a small SuSu community. in October 2020, 20 white folx committed to contribute to nicHi's SuSu. nicHi serves as The Banker, managing funds between parties and distributing funds monthly.
the Black folx identities' are protected; the white folx give anonymously. two individuals (one Black & one white) hold nicHi accountable to the community gathered in this system
